I’m sure that this won’t really matter to most of you, but I’ve now made “http://b4yp.com” back into my main “contact portal”, I guess you could say. It links to my tumblr account but there are also links to Twitter, Friendface, and my oh-so-neglected LiveJournal account. Ever since I switched from LithiumMod to CynogenMod — both custom Android versions for the Motorola Droid — I had been much happier. CyanogenMod seemed a lot more stable and had less of a “here, let’s see what we can hack together in one place” feel to it. Over time, though, even with overclocked kernels, Cyanogen seemed a bit slow to me.

Ok so I’m a pretty big fan of snow, but enough is enough already. More snow is in the forecast for next week and we’re supposed to get another pretty big storm in the first week of February… hopefully this means we’ll have a mild summer at least.
After spending about a week using the 460GTX, I have to say that I really do like it better then the HD 5770.
Granted, it’s not measurably faster then the HD5770 for what I use it for, but there are a few things that are a bit nicer. Firstly, it has CUDA support and has knocked off de/recode times for videos. Secondly, the HDCP support seems.. well.. reliable. With the HD5770, it always...

So, after a recommendation from a friend, I figured that there was no harm in giving tumblr a try. Occasionally, I have a bit more to post then what can fit in 140 characters on Twitter — and I’m not a big fan of posting a ton of tweets in a row. Also, I don’t think I ever have quite enough to say to make an enormous LJ post.
This seemed like a happy medium. We’ll see if...
